Michal Makeš has completed the first weekend of this season

The Czech racer made his racing debut with a Mercedes AMG GT4 at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit in Spain, and he did not do badly at all.

Makeš started in the GT Winter Series with the CV Performance Group team for the first time in a sharp race where he was caught in the rain.

"I tried a sharp race for the first time with the Mercedes AMG GT4, but the expected rain came. Nevertheless, I was able to fight with my rivals and overtake. It was literally throwing me into the water, but I think I didn't behave badly," Makeš reacts to the incident.

As part of the GT Winter Series, there is also an endurance race on the principle of what fans may know from, for example, ADAC GT4 Germany or the GT4 European Series - with a mandatory pit stop and a change of pilots.

"In Mercedes, everything is completely different from what I was used to in the previous season. The characteristics and driving style of the car is completely different and the Mercedes in particular is very close to the GT3 specification. I certainly have room for improvement, but I evaluate the first weekend of this season positively," adds Čech.

Makeš has not yet announced his plans for the upcoming season, but he revealed that he will definitely start in the GT4 category championship.
