ADAC GT4 Lausitzring

ADAC GT4 Lausitzring

Lausitzring was the second race weekend of the ADAC GT4 Germany season, where we teamed up with Project 1 and took on the challenge in the BMW M4 GT4.

Race 1 – P2

Maxime started the race from P11 and delivered a very strong opening stint, gaining several positions. After the driver change, I jumped in and immediately felt the pace was there. The BMW handled exactly how I needed it to, and I felt confident in battles with other cars. I managed to move all the way up to P1, but after a late safety car, we lost the lead and crossed the line in P2.

It was our first podium of the season and a great moment for the whole team – especially after a tough weekend in Zandvoort. It was clear we had the potential to fight at the front.

Race 2 – P9

On Sunday, it was my turn to start – unfortunately from P21, since qualifying with the GT4 car really wasn’t my strong suit at the time. That made the race itself an even bigger challenge. I pushed hard from the start, stayed out of trouble, and focused on clean overtakes.

In the end, we finished P9, which was a solid result given the starting position and the strength of the field.

Overall, Lausitzring was another strong weekend for us – a podium, points in both races, and a clear statement that our race pace was among the best on the grid.
