The first race weekend of the season at the Lausitzring

The first race weekend of the season at the Lausitzring in Germany started with a very successful qualifying, where I managed third place. Overall, qualifying was very close as the top 5 were all within 0.35 of a second.

Saturday's race didn't start well for me, but in the end it was a great race with a lot of fights. The whole race was very balanced, but towards the end it was difficult for me to catch the cars in a pleasant way due to the degradation of the tires. In the end I finished the race in P5 and P1 Rookie.

Sunday's race started better and I managed to stay in the leading group. With a stable ride, I was able to keep the tires and build up a lead on the cars behind me. Unfortunately I made a small mistake on the restart and that meant dropping from P2 to P4 and P2 Rookie. Even though I failed to reach the podium, which was very close, I am satisfied with the speed I had and I believe that I will still reach the podium.
