About Michal

Michal Makeš was born on February 3, 2000 and has been driven by his passion for racing cars since he was young. His career took off in 2016 when he got behind the wheel of a go-kart for the first time. However, in 2018 he moved to racing bigger cars on circuits. He excelled in the Renault Clio and won the title of ESET Clio Cup champion not only in 2018, but also in the following year 2019.

In 2020, he accepted the challenge of TCR Eastern Europe, where he presented himself with a Cupra TCR car. He placed fourth overall and claimed second place in the junior championship. A year later, as a representative of the Czech Republic, he became the champion of TCR Eastern Europe 2023, which was just another of his achievements.

The year 2022 accepted a new request in the form of the BMW M2 CUP championship. Although it was his first season with rear wheel drive cars, he managed to place sixth overall, third in the juniors with two podium finishes. In 2023, he moved to the stronger GT4 category in ADAC GT4 Germany, where he experienced a difficult season with many complications and conflicts. Despite the difficult season, at least the weekends at Oschersleben and Lausitzring were successful with two podiums in second place.

His track activities in 2023 were not limited to ADAC GT4 Germany. Michal made his first appearance on the Nordschleife as part of NLS9 in the SP2 category, where he took third place and received a B license.

Michals journey is full of challenges and successes, and despite the difficulties, Michal is constantly moving forward, looking for new possibilities and opportunities in the fast-paced world of car racing.
